We started heading back south, we decided to go through the table lands which are the mountain country to the west of the coast.

We spent the night and moost of the nextt day in the Paronella old mansion - a spanish guy that came here 120 Years ago and wanted to create a fantastic garden and castle for everyone to enjoy and all the disasters and rebuilding that took place there - now it's refurbished and used as a touritic site where you can stay for the night too and there are daily and nightly guided tours through his amazing gardens and buildings.There was also a native aboriginal show there and an aboriginal "bush tucker" tour that explained about there culture and how they survive in the rain forrest - what they eat, natural medicines and dances and music - they let us try to eat the different trees and leaves and Tammy even ate a tropical green bum ant !!! (alive)
