From Airlie beach we continued to Gladstone, a medium sized town on the way south.
Here we did serviced the car and optimized the car's engine cooling system at a carburetor mechanic shop, and while it was there - we went to the local library for some internet and kids stuff.
We keep being amazed by the Australian libraries and how much thought is put into them.

We also went to the beech there and saw the tide in action sweeping into the shore -
