Methven and Mt Hutt

We decided that if we are already in freezing temperatures, we should go skiing !
The closest place was Mt. Hutt 40 minutes drive from Methven.
So we went up the mountain twice.
The first day, Meytar had a full day kids ski learner pack combined with a kids 'creche' (like kindergarten for kids when their parents go skiing) And I (eran) took a full day ski learner pack and Tammy was with Nitai.
The second day, Meytar had a full day in the 'creche' and Tammy had a full day ski learner pack while I was with Niati.
Both days were good skiing days.

We rented all the necessary ski gear (water proof and clothes) for all of us.


One evning when going back from the mountain to Methven we saw an amazing sunset over the mountains we just descended from - no filters or computer effects - these were the real colors :



Now you understand why they chose New Zealand for filming lord of the rings.
